What’s the best use of an owner’s time?

Before meeting us, Fabrice had grown his accounting firm for eight years through short-form video content. He knew a long-form podcast would deepen that authority and expand his reach, but he had no knowledge of podcasting technology, editing, or production. His original plan was to buy equipment and figure it out himself, which he recognized was a poor use of his time.

Searching for the right podcast producer

After discovering Forge Podcast Co. through LinkedIn, Fabrice booked a consultation and soon realized he’d found more than a producer. He’d found a strategic thought partner. We helped him move beyond the concept he arrived with, shaping the show’s name and direction to align it tightly with the Simplify My Numbers brand. Forge took full ownership of the production workflow, while Fabrice only needed to show up ready to record.

Generating high value leads through podcasting

The Simplify My Numbers Show launched in early 2025 and has become Fabrice’s highest-value lead generation tool. Video clips extracted from each episode continue his long-standing model of proving expertise through content, now with the added credibility of long-form depth.

Fabrice also uses Forge Founder Bryan Steele as an informal “clarity test” for his content. If Bryan can follow the explanation, the audience will too. He is actively developing an interview format and sees the show as a platform that could eventually expand into educational programming for other CPAs.

If you’re looking for someone who knows what they’re doing and has a lot of experience, I would definitely recommend Bryan and his team. They save you a ton of time and headache trying to figure it all out on your own.

Setting the stage for future expansion through podcasting

Kristin was building toward a corporate expansion into new markets. However, she recognized the need to establish Utopia as the recognized authority in elevated salon suite concepts before entering those markets. Salon suites are an empowering business model for beauty professionals. It allows them to lease an affordable workspace while running, and growing, their business as an independent owner. This puts them far ahead of the traditional model of working for another owner before branching out on their own.

With all current suites waitlisted and leased, there was no short-term ROI to justify the podcast, but that wasn’t the goal. She needed a partner who could help her think beyond the present and invest in brand equity for the long game in future markets. Privately, she also dreaded being a podcast host, finding the format uncomfortable and unnatural.

Beyond production services, strategic coaching supports Utopia’s long game

Forge Founder Bryan Steele helped Kristin reframe the value of the podcast as a brand-building investment rather than a direct sales tool. He designed the show, Suite Independence, to position Utopia as the go-to authority for beauty professionals considering the salon suite business model.

Beyond production, Bryan operates as a real-time creative director during recordings. He briefs Kristin before each episode, feeding her live questions when the conversation needs redirecting. He also consults proactively with her marketing team on content strategy and distribution.

For the most part, Kristin cannot draw a direct line from the podcast to immediate ROI, but she consistently reports secondhand brand validation. The plan is working, and people in her markets recognize and comment on the show as evidence of Utopia’s authority.

An unexpected benefit of Suite Independence is the depth of relationships Kristin has developed with her own salon suite tenants through podcast conversations. She’s learning their stories in ways day-to-day interactions never would have enabled, and it is improving her ability to serve clients and speak to her target audience. She describes the show as a genuine boost to marketing that “legitimizes” Utopia as it gears up to grow nationally.

He gets to know my business and my audience as well as I do, and he’s always spot-on. Bryan’s support is why I’ve stayed with it!

Noble Metal - Building Resilient Leaders

A powerful voice that preferred to remain private

Phillip and his business partner at Iridium Leadership had valuable, differentiated intellectual property to share with the world. His podcast, Noble Metal, applies Bowen Family Systems Theory, a specific framework for understanding human behavior, to leadership in both professional and personal contexts.

However, Phillip had no desire for fame, no experience in podcasting, and a natural resistance to putting himself out there as a public voice. Without a trusted production partner to remove the technical and psychological barriers, he was clear: the podcast simply would not happen.

Patiently building podcasting confidence

Introduced to Bryan through a longtime business associate, Phillip quickly identified the two qualities that gave him confidence to proceed: Bryan’s genuine expertise and his non-arrogant, collaborative presence.

Bryan demystified the podcast production process, provided straightforward equipment guidance, and began coaching Phillip on delivery, particularly around how to read a script in a way that sounds natural and conversational. His patience and flexibility helped Phillip feel safe to experiment and course-correct in recording sessions.

Seeing early success and audience growth

It’s early days for Iridium’s podcast, Noble Metal, launched in October of 2025. However, by its 14th episode, it was growing subscriber numbers by approximately 75% per month. Phillip views himself as an active learner still developing his craft as a podcaster, with the goal of eventually bringing guest voices into the mix.

“

If you tried to imagine life without Bryan and his team at Forge on your podcast endeavor, I don’t think I’d have a podcast. I wouldn’t be doing it.
